A number of teachers have found that they still have last year’s students listed in their new SRI class lists.

This problem will in no way affect students as they take SRI assessments. If not fixed, however, it will make reading performance reports rather cumbersome.

Please feel free to contact me if you are experiencing this problem. I’m more than happy to update your class list for you.

You may, however, remove last year’s students yourself by following the directions found here:
http://slcedtech.net/sri/Removing_Adding.pdf

These instructions also work for specialists who wish to set up their own SRI classes for the purpose of running reports and tracking progress. Once again, I’m happy to complete the procedure for you if you’d rather.

Please DO NOT use the Manage Enrollment section to remove students from SRI, as doing so will prevent them from being able to log in to the program when their current teacher administers the assessment.

If you receive a new student, please contact me so that I may enroll them in the SRI program.

More SRI resources can be found under the Tips and Tutorials section at www.slcedtech.net .

Here is a direct link to those resources:
http://slcedtech.net/sri/SRI.html

Please feel free to contact me if you need any assistance with this program. I’ve given presentations at a number of sites on how to run a variety of SRI reading reports, and I’m happy to visit any school who wishes to receive additional help with this program. Also, please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail or by phone at 549-1344 if you have any questions.
